Join NAMS for this year’s National Addictions Awareness Day (NAAD) on 20th August, 9.30am to 11.30am and be part of the journey in igniting the hope of recovery for persons with addictions.
The theme for NAAD 2021 is Let’s Face It Together. This virtual event seeks to raise awareness and dispel misconceptions of addictions, and to provide better and well-informed support for individuals facing addictions in their recovery journey.
Family, friends and loved ones will be encouraged and better equipped to step forth to provide support for persons with addictions.
Celebrity, Mark Lee will be sharing a heartfelt account of his journey in recovering from a debilitating gambling addiction, in addition to other personal recovery stories.
Equip yourself with knowledge of addictions issues through friendly discussions with healthcare professionals from NAMS. Together, let’s form a supportive community to empower persons with addictions on their road to recovery, and drive home the message that no one needs to face addictions alone.
Mark your calendar for this coming 20th August, 9.30am to 11.30am and embark on this meaningful journey with us!
